At the time of writing there’s an annoying glitch that’s causing the line breaks between paragraphs to disappear.

So if you write 3 paragraphs, for example, you’ll come back later and find that it’s reverted to one big paragraph.

To fix this you need to use the TinyMCE Advanced plugin. If you’ve attended one of my workshops you will probably already have this. If not, install it at Dashboard > Plugins > Add New.

Log into your Dashboard, then:

Settings > TinyMCE Advanced > Advanced Options (down the page a bit) > Tick ‘Stop removing the
and
tags when saving and show them in the Text editor’ > Save Changes

Hopefully this issue will be fixed soon and this tutorial will become redundant!

Tick this box in TinyMCE Advanced to stop stripping out line breaks

EDIT 22/3/16: The latest version of Divi with the latest version of WordPress has apparently fixed this issue, though when I came in to edit this post, all my paragraph formatting had been stripped out so I’m not totally convinced yet.

EDIT 9/11/17: I can’t remember the last time I saw this happening but I’m leaving this post anyway, because who knows when and where the issue will pop up again?
